Eurozone finance ministers elected Jeroen Dijsselbloem of the Netherlands to replace Luxembourg Prime Minister Jean-Claude Juncker as chairman of the key Eurogroup, Juncker’s spokesman said on Monday. The vote among the 17 members of the single currency area saw 16 countries back the candidate pushed by euro powerbroker Germany, with the Luxembourg aide saying only one resisting. “It was unanimity minus one,” he told AFP.
